I don’t have a logical explanation for being afraid to try eBay, or the 99 cent auction, but I definitely have a mind block In that regard. Maybe 2014 is the year to give it a shot!
It works for you, that is so inspiring!
I haven’t tried the eBay or similar route yet, but 2014 might just be it!!
Thanks for the interesting article, makes one consider the options!!
Thanks Rene,
Go for it! Just remember for an auction to be successful your photography has to be very good – that seems to be the #1 thing.

I have been following your advice and bought a Canon Rebel( I still have to learn how to use it)
I bought your slouchy cardigan pattern, after making it I put it on eBay auction for 99 cents.
After 7 scary days it sold for $10. 49 cents.
My feedback was 5 stars and the buyer thought the cardigan was very cute. so I was pretty pleased with the results and decided I will try again. I bought the jeans pattern and made a waistcoat and put it in my Etsy store and web site.
Tonight after more encouragement from you i am going to put it on eBay for 99 cents.
Thank you!
Exciting to hear Joyce, thanks for letting us know. There are tutorials for using your canon – on Youtube… that should help a lot. Try to get a 50MM or 85MM fixed length lens. That will make your photos truly pop – which helps a lot.
All the very best,
Jason
I haven’t done much on eBay either. A few lower price niche outfits. Not sure if I want to take the plunge to the elite tier. Not sure I want to be stuck in the economy class either.
Yeah, it’s sometimes hard to choose the best path.

still a little nervous about the 99 cent auction but after reading the comments here I think I will give it a try.
