Question for the group… by MSG Team | Dec 5, 2010 | Cinnamon's Updates, polls | 14 comments Hey, we figured out how to do a poll. Fun. So, first question…There are almost 50 of you, yet no one seems to comment very much under our posts. That’s okay, but we were wondering…would a forum be helpful to you? Let us know what you think: Take Our Poll 14 Comments ipadzoe on at 2:31 am That is because we are so busy sewing and creating. And, trying to get our shopping done and gifts in the mail. But, I have a question, is there a difference in the jeans pattern and the skinny jeans pattern. I just noticed two jeans patterns. I absolutely love the jeans pattern and have made many of them, just finished ripping up a pair of my pleated shorts in denim and made three pairs for relatives. Reply cinnamonmiles on at 2:37 am It’s great to hear that you’re having fun with the jeans pattern! The two patterns are very similar. The skinny jeans pattern is shorter in length and narrower at the bottom opening. Reply ipadzoe on at 2:36 am I have made the outback dress out of shocking pink dupioni silk and priced it like a piccasso and it sold. It was gorgeous. And, I am including with it some scraps of fabric, because I think it can be washed if need be. The Chinese all wash silk. Reply cinnamonmiles on at 2:40 am I’d love to see that! maybe you could post the pic on our FB Fan Page, or send it to me in an email. 🙂 Reply camelotstreasures on at 5:44 pm Unfortunately, I forget to check into this site often, and that’s why I haven’t posted much. It would be uber helpful if there was an email reminder sent out when something new is added, that way I know exactly when to check 🙂 Although this site is spectacular and I love reading all your wonderful tips, so keep up the great work! Reply adorabledollfashions on at 3:30 pm I would like an email too! I enjoy all the helpful ideas and articles you and Jason write for us! I have learned so much about taking my pictures for my listings! I am also starting to buy some of my fabrics from Britex Fabrics and some from Forever 21, Kohls and Target all have super good sales on their clothes! I buy them and cut them up and make more doll clothes outfits! Thanks so much Cinnamon, being a premium partner has its pluses! Reply Shonna Frietas on at 5:11 pm I think the email is a great idea…I don’t have time to keep checking to see if something new is posted, so a nudge to let me know would really be great…I really appreciate being able to learn all of this stuff from you guys and I feel like the new kid on the block, well I am as far as making doll clothes. Reply Christine J Smith on at 12:31 pm Ditto on the emails. So many places to look on your webpages, all good stuff, but I never know where to look for the latest post or new information. Thanks for sharing. Chris Reply Linda Jarriel on at 1:47 am Just joined today so I’m reading fast and furiously. Lots of great info here! I agree….please send email reminders when new info is added so I’ll be sure not to miss it. My biggest problem is undervaluing my work when I really do want to Price like a Picasso! Hoping to lose that mentality by partnering with you. Thanks for being here! Linda 🙂 Reply Karen Wadsworth on at 8:54 am Yes on a forum and E-mails on posting updates. The Design Academy forum was great–learned so much from everyone else! Reply Donna (sweetscraps) on at 6:41 pm I think a forum would be fun. Hopefully people would participate. Reply Jason and Cinnamon on at 6:20 pm It us up and running – called The Cutting Room – you can see the link on our homepage… Reply Hope W on at 10:48 pm I get the emails about new posts, but usually I’m on my Kindle Fire or Galaxy S3. From those devices, I get asked about downloading something when all I want to do is read it. Reply Jason Miles on at 11:13 am Thanks Hope – that’s helpful. We are trying to incldue the full text in our posts now which should help. Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
